What is it with heels that I can take my hands off ? Every time I do my monthly shopping, I always look for a heels. For me, the higher, the better it is. For some people, yah I'm crazy but what can I do ? I just love heels so much. I'll keep on buying  & buying till I forgot about something.. What's the right outfit for these heels. January Books ♫♫♫♪

100 Books In a Year Reading Challenge 2011

For January reading period, I manage to read two books which are : Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger and To Kill A Mockingbird by legendary writer, Harper Lee. Both story are great. It is a good read though ! I recommend you all to read these book.

BOOK ONE : HER FEARFUL SYMMETRY BY AUDREY NIFFENEGGER.

Her Fearful Symmetry is set in London and what better place for a ghost story than right next door to Highgate Cemetery? As the story opens, a woman dies and has left she her London flat to the twin daughters of her own estranged twin sister. There are many dark secrets lurking here and there and many mysteries that go unexplained.

Her Fearful Symmetry juggles many balls, and the characters must deal with multiple changes in their lives. I found that I liked most of the characters, with exception of the ghost aunt. Even as she lay dying in the opening scene, she was a nasty bit of business. There is one big shock that really caught me by surprise, and one big shock that I was able to see a couple of miles off. I liked them both. The ending is a bit flat & less dramatic, not what I expected from the writer but overall the storyline is great.

BOOK TWO : TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD BY HARPER LEE.

Highly recommend this book, even though the language is hard & too literate.

I would definitely recommend people to read the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I found it to be an interesting and powerful book. I feel the book does a great job in portraying the extreme prejudice that existed in the south at that time. I feel this book makes a powerful statement on how justice can be altered through racism. I also think that the themes found in the book are themes which can still be found in our current society and that makes it the more interesting. You can even make a case that prejudice still has an effect in our legal system today. So if you are looking for a powerful book of "coming of age" and the battle for justice I would highly recommend To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

2010 Treasure Hunting

Kota Kinabalu City Tourism Treasure Hunt 2011 ! I wanna join this treasure hunting thing so badly but I know, I can't ~ but never mind, I'll join it next year, that is a promise <3

Exactly one year ago, me & my dear friends join the Kota Kinabalu City Tourism Treasure Hunt 2010 ! It was the happiest time ever ! 

 The Story goes on like this . . .

The Flag-Off of this race is at NEXUS Karambunai Resort. The night before the race, I spent the whole night at der Amy's sister house. We both got so excited & sleep late & end-up waking-up late too <3 but still, we manage to get ready on time. Booboo has to pick us early, I mean really really early. I think its on 4.30 AM. Then, we all go to pick-up Tasim at his home at SMASH !

We arrive early at NEXUS but.. I thought we are the earliest one but NOT ! haha, there are still some group that manage to came early than us. Its okay, we manage to get the front park also.

The flag-Off start on 7.30 AM and we got the task paper & this is what happen : 

• Tasim & der Amy have to do the Kite-thing. Me & Booboo have to get the Passport Sign at the Suria Sabah.

• Then, Booboo have to drop me at Gaya Street for the Walk Hunting Task.. This task is seriously hard..why?? bacause the clue they gave  us was in anagram, look back, sound like.. and so on.. what? wanna try the question? Try answer this = Flu virus not less from the east, Leads to a place to stay in or feast.

• Booboo, Tasim & der Amy later came & help me with the task, and then we both; me & der Amy have to continue with the same task, but now at the Waterfront.. believe it or not, after the task, me & der Amy have walk all the way to the DBKK City hall.. while Tasim and Booboo still proceed with the passport sign task.

• At DBKK, me have to play the Chop-Stick game ! hahaha.. funny, hard but still OK ! ngehh ~! manage to take out lots of bean, i have good hand coordination <3

• At exactly 10.15 a.m = Beginning with the 2nd task, the Leg 2 ! we have to go to Monsopiad Place at Putatan and play 2 [funny game]; sumpit and walk on the “tempurung kelapa”.. the tulip is so hard to read, i mean [add nothing here to get the number we want for unity in our land. What and Where? & the answer are within jalan kolombong for a distance of 1.50???] what is that?? hard, hard, hard ! & we all got tired and hungry [can’t wait to finish up all the task and go back to Nexus and EAT !]

When we arrived, we all got so tired & we cant stop eating then ! (thank god NEXUS got so plenty of food so we can keep on eating & eating) We manage to get high score from the leg one, but for the leg two.. well, lets not say it shall we ? hehe.. even though we didn't win, we manage to know lots of people & make new friends ~ some of them I still manage to keep in touch through FACEBOOK !
